Written Analysis 3

We all need heroes in our life. We need someone to look to, someone to makes us “believe” that we can do it. There are classical heroes and personal heroes. The M&M characters are considered mostly by children but not only, as heroes.
In the last few years, Mars released a series of commercials involving the M&M characters in which we learn more about our beloved M&M characters. Each character has its  personality, talent and catch phrase. The different attributes that each M&M character has makes them unique among the others. Some characters are smarter than others; some are more powerful while others have a series of unique attributes that contributes to their personality. And, of course, each character has weaknesses like the real heroes do. For example, the orange M&M thinks that everyone it’s after him. Because of the way they are portrayed children see the M&M characters as heroes. Sometimes they are associated with heroes from real life like firefighters, policeman or nurses. Everyone has a favorite character. Lately, Mars joined their forces with Marvel, and now we can see the M&M characters team up with popular superheroes like Iron Man and/or Captain America. This was a good move from Mars as this only enforces the idea of M&M’s being superheroes.
I had never considered the M&M characters as heroes until a few years ago when they introduced the orange M&M character. I love pretzels, and I love chocolate, so this made me pay more attention to the orange M&M character. Over the years, I learned to love the character that he represents. The thing that I like the most is that the orange M&M thinks that he needs to be put on the endangered list. There are a lot of heroes out there, and we just need to find the right heroes for us, the heroes that can represent us and our beliefs.
